- To lay down the procedure for the operation of packing conveyer belt.
- Scope:
- The SOP is applicable for the operation of packing conveyer belt installed in the packing hall of sterile injectables facility.

- MCB : Miniature Circuit breaker
- Procedure
- Ensure that the packing conveyer belt is properly cleaned before starting the packing operation.
- Ensure that line clearance has been done before starting the packing operation.
- Switch on the Power supply of the packing conveyer belt from the mains.
- Switch on the control panel of the conveyer belt by moving the MCB to on position.
- Press Run/Stop Switch once to start the conveyer belt.
- Adjust the speed of the conveyer belt by pressing the control switches on the control panel.
- Press Run/Stop switch once to stop the packing belt at the end of the packing activities.
- Switch off the control panel of the conveyer belt by moving the MCB to off position.
- Switch off the Power supply of the packing conveyer belt from the mains.
- Clean the packing conveyer belt as per Sop on cleaning of conveyer belt.
- Record the operation and cleaning details in the Equipment Operation cleaning & maintenance Log Book format No: QASG040/F01-00 and Batch Packing Record and get it checked by the production officer/supervisor.
