- To lay down a procedure for operation of BOPP taping machine.

- Procedure
- Pre-Start UP
- Check the status of the machine for its operation.
- Visually check that machine and surrounding area for cleanliness.
- Visually check that there are no remnants of the previous day’s operation.
- Take the line clearance from production / IPQA officer before starting the BOPP taping machine.
- Operation of BOPP Taping Machine
- Obtain the BOPP roll from production officer as per the secondary packing material requisition from store.
- Get the shipper coding batch details such as Batch number, Manufacturing date, Expiry date and Maximum retail price of vials from production officers.
- Get the rubber stereos from production officer and set the stereos.
- Stamp the shipper coding details on batch production record and get it approved from production/ In process quality assurance officer.
- Switch “ON” the machine from main supply.
- Set the BOPP tap roll each on upper side and lower side of roller.
- Place the shipper box on the machine.
- Adjust the height and width of the shipper box with the adjustable nuts.
- Switch “ON” the machine.
- Before starting the operation, get the BOPP taping on shipper box approved from production officers.
- Continue the operation.
