Emcure is hiring for two primary segments within their API Production department. Here is a breakdown of the specific qualifications and experience required for each role:
1. API – Production
This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in shop floor operations and safety compliance.
- Educational Background: M.Sc, Diploma, or BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
- Required Experience: 2 to 5 years.
- Core Responsibilities: * Managing unit operations on the shop floor in shifts.
- Executing batch processing and maintaining meticulous documentation.
- Adhering strictly to cGMP and safety protocols.
- Candidates with experience in oncology, cytotoxic drugs, small batch manufacturing, or Solvent Recovery Plants (SRP) are highly preferred.
2. API – Production (Peptide Synthesis)
This specialized role focuses on organic chemistry and advanced synthesis techniques.
- Educational Background: M.Sc in Organic Chemistry.
- Required Experience: 2 to 6 years.
- Core Responsibilities:
- Performing Solid-Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS) using Fmoc through both automated and manual methods.
- Hands-on experience with Prep HPLC purification and peptide characterization.
- Involvement in process development, scale-up, and optimization for peptide manufacturing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in chromatography and automated SPPS synthesizers.
