As a Warehouse manager who has worked in an Oral Solid Dosage formulations unit, The incumbent should have the following qualities to suit this position.
Job Location: Bhilad, Gujarat.
Experience :10 – 12 years
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / B. Sc. or Science & Post Graduate in Material Management Course.
Job Description:
1. Store the right amount of materials, goods, and products in the right location to feed the business and production’s operational demands.
2. Responsible for organizing the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods, and products.
3. Lead the creation and implementation of best practice warehouse strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
4. Ensure storage of raw materials, packing materials, and finished products is in full adherence with the prevailing Good Manufacturing Practice.
5. Planned, coordinated, and monitored the receipt, storage, and dispense of raw materials and packing materials to production and coordinated with the logistic team for distribution of finished goods.
6. Ensure the relevance and accuracy of all documentation relating to raw materials, packing materials, and finished products in and out including labelling of all stock items.
7. Continuously review ways to aid efficiency, add value, and reduce costs as well as deliver continuous improvement and initiatives.
8. Create policies and procedures for warehouse activities and ensure all systems meet the standards for accreditation in line with the quality systems.
9. Coach, manage, and develop warehouse staff and team leaders to optimize performance and meet targets and deadlines.
10. Communicate with warehouse staff regularly to make them aware of priorities, targets, and operational requirements.
11. Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; and reconciling with the data storage system.
12. Apply the principles of FEFO and/or FIFO as appropriate.
13. Check all miscellaneous items purchased with invoices.
14. Coordinate with QC, QA & Production department for urgent requirements of RM, and PM.
15. Operating of Microsoft ERP System.
