 Functioning, cleaning and maintenance of Static Pass Box.

Objective:

• To lay down the method for the ordinary operation, cleansing and preservation of the Static Pass Box (SPB).

Scope:

• This SOP is relevant to the Static Pass Box present inside the microbiology lab.

Responsibility:

• Chemist or above of QC laboratory.
• Head – Microbiology Section.

Accountability:

• Head – Quality Control.

Procedure:

Make: Clean Room Presentations

• Operation:
• Fix the wire of the SPB to the MAINS transfer.
• Switch ON the MAINS to which the SPB electric wire is attached.
• The virtual show will display the popularity of THIS DOOR & OTHER DOOR as ‘C’ & ‘C’.
• Press the release switch to open the door.
• The virtual show for THIS DOOR and OTHER DOOR will be ‘C’ & ‘C’.
• Switch ON the UV Light via way of means of urgent GER ON
• The virtual show for THIS DOOR and OTHER DOOR will be ‘C’ & ‘C’.
• Switch ON the UV Light through pressing GER ON
• Now the individual on the opposite facet will transfer off the UV mild earlier than establishing the door and could open the door via way of means of urgent the discharge turn on the opposite facet of the DPB.
• The virtual show for THIS DOOR and OTHER DOOR will then be ‘C’ & ‘O’.
• Unlade the material and then close the door.

Cleaning:

• Clean the internal walls, grill and workbench of SPB Cabinet earlier than and after operation with the assist of a lint unfastened fabric soaked in disinfectant solution

Maintenance:

• Clean the internal walls, grill and workbench of SPB Cabinet earlier than and after operation with the assist of a lint unfastened fabric soaked in disinfectant solution
• If any spillage happens at some stage in shifting or unloading of material it must be immediately wiped off with disinfectant solution.
• Once in a month test the depth of UV lamp via way of means of the sauge of LUX meter.
• Put back UV lamp after 2000 hrs of burning.
